Subterranean Termites Nasutitermes

This is a very large genus of termites which mainly are grass feeding species that build large mounds from converted food.  Several species are significant pests of housing and cause considerable damage over time.  Nests can be found in trees in some species or low dome shaped mud mounds in other pest species.
