Five Months On: Esplanade Continue to Deliver at Elders Young
Applied prior to Christmas 2025, Esplanade has delivered consistent weed control across a broad spectrum of weed species at the Elders Young outlet.
A recent site visit in May with Senior Agronomist, JJ Venter at Elders Young has highlighted the outstanding long-term residual performance of Esplanade, with treated areas continuing to remain clean and well-presented, more than five months after application.
Applied prior to Christmas 2025, the treatment has delivered consistent weed control across a broad spectrum of species, including summer and winter grasses, broadleaf weeds, and particularly challenging targets such as Fleabane.
JJ described the performance as exceeding expectations:
“I couldn’t be happier with the results we’ve seen from Esplanade. The performance around our Young premises has been outstanding and it’s certainly opened our eyes to what long residual vegetation management can achieve...we sprayed Esplanade mixed with glyphosate… and here we are at the end of May 2026 still seeing excellent residual control. The longevity has honestly exceeded expectations.”
Fleabane control was a key standout for the team, with strong suppression maintained well beyond the initial application window:
“One of the biggest standouts for us has been the control of fleabane… Esplanade has done an exceptional job keeping it under control for the long term.”
Beyond weed efficacy, the treatment has delivered clear operational benefits. Reduced repeat spraying and mowing has significantly lowered maintenance demands, while site presentation has remained consistently clean and professional.
“Instead of constantly going back and re-spraying or mowing weeds, we’ve been able to put the application out and let the product do the work. It’s saved us a lot of time and ongoing maintenance.”
Visually, the difference has been equally compelling, with treated areas remaining bare and tidy months after application, reinforcing its value in commercial environments where presentation matters.
“The beauty of this product is that people can physically see the difference. Once they walk onto a treated site and compare it to traditional programs, the value becomes very obvious.”
