Envu Showcases Expanded Team and Portfolio While Celebrating Industry Excellence at Pesticon 2025
The conference marked an exciting new chapter for Envu’s Professional Pest Management business, providing a valuable platform to connect with industry leaders, showcase our expanded team and portfolio, and celebrate the achievements that continue to shape excellence across the broader pest management industry.
The Envu Professional Pest Management team attended Pesticon 2025 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, hosted by the Australian Environmental Pest Managers Association (AEPMA) from 6–8 August. The event delivered a dynamic program of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the celebration of excellence within the pest management industry.
The event began with the Australian Women’s Pest Management Association (AWPMA) breakfast, proudly sponsored by Envu. The morning brought together professionals from all stages of their careers to build connections and share experiences over a great breakfast spread. Keynote speaker Taryn Brumfitt, 2023 Australian of the Year, delivered an inspiring address on leadership and the power of authenticity. She left the audience with a powerful reminder to embrace challenges and seize opportunities as they come: “If not you, then who? If not now, then when?”
Later, David Arnold, Technical Sales Manager at Envu, took the stage to deliver a standout session on spider control, breaking down common species and the real risks they pose, from bites to infestations. His session reinforced that effective pest control is always a balance of science, strategy, and education.
Conference attendees were invited to complete our customer survey and enter to win a prize. The initiative generated great interaction with pest professionals throughout the week with excellent engagement across the Envu stand. Congratulations to Myles Dunbabin Fazackerley from Tasman Pest Management, who won the prize draw and took home an Apple Watch Series 10.
The week wrapped up with the Gala Dinner, where Daryle Swarz, PPM National Sales Manager at Envu presented the 2025 Envu Individual Excellence in Professional Pest Management Award to pest professional Bruce Dekker of ProTrain. With more than 30 years in the industry, Bruce’s commitment to excellence in his line of work and mentorship to many in the industry has shaped pest management across Australia. Congratulations Bruce on your very well-deserved win.
